Mission Statement

The Mid-Jersey Labrador Retriever Club, established in 1972, is an AKC sanctioned club that brings together breeders and owners of Labrador Retrievers. Our objective is to serve as stewards for the Labrador Retriever, preserving the breed for future generations. It is our goal to bring out the natural qualities of the Labrador Retriever to perfection; to do all in our power to protect and promote the interest of the breed. All Club members are encouraged to be mentors to other Club members and non-Club members in all aspects of the breed. We strive to achieve these goals by conducting sanctioned matches, specialty shows, obedience trials, rally trials, hunt tests, field trials and any other event for which the club is eligible under the Rules and Regulations of The American Kennel Club and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at such events.
